Do you ever make time for thinking? Do you sometimes stop and wonder where it’s all going? Do you often find yourself in a debate about green energy, human rights, or new economic realities, when what you had started talking about was what you were going to have for dinner tomorrow?
We do. All the time. And we think there’s are many more like us out there.
You’re reading this on a computer screen tapping into the internet, which is like having the largest library, research center and experts’ conference right there in front of your nose. Potentially, if you wanted, you could begin researching nuclear physics after reading this. You would never need to leave your seat, and if you put your mind to it, you could become something of an expert on the topic, all from that chair you’re sitting on.
That has been impossible before now. And it gives us a unique opportunity to really think about what we want out of the future, to understand what is possible and to take steps towards ensuring we create a world we can be proud of.
Our generation, Generation C, is capable of doing all of these things, and this magazine is a tiny wheel in that machine. We want to hear from all of you experts, thinkers and dreamers, and we want you to take part in shaping the world to come. Nothing is more important.
